I have a DW5000 remote hi hat and it seems a little sluggish, is there anyway to be able to lube the cable or something else to make it work a little faster? Thanks for your time.

Soak the cable in some light oil with graphite.

Or get the oil with graphite spray can wioth a nozzle and inject it untill it comes out the other end of the cable whild working the cable back and forth.
