Bass Drum Reso Head

Looking for some advice. I want to put a design on my bass drum for an upcoming gig. I am thinking i'll use a white adhesive vinyl probably 1.5mm.

Will this affect the sound in anyway?

Silly question I know but I thought i'd better ask

I really don't think it will aafect your sound much, if at all. Just don't go crazy with the tape.

Cheers for the response. I was pretty sure it wouldn't do anything but you know what it's like, best to ask before you screw something up.
