Question Single pedals

Hi, my first real post here, and decided to as you guys (or why not girls) question. Does anyone have any experience with these pedals:
Tama Speedcobra
Tama Iron Cobra
Pearl Eliminator
Pearl Demon Drive
Mapex Falcon

So yeah, I'd like to hear your opinion on any of those mentioned above. Just pros and cons.

Thanks!

Re: Single pedals

Welcome to DSC Axu.

As I refer to all the members as drummers. May they be male or female.

I use the DW 9002 pedals for double and the DW7000 for single.
So I'm sure some drummers here at the forum will get back to you on your question.

Happy Drumming

Re: Single pedals

Trick pro 1v here, I have the ability to use my slave as a single. I have tried DW 5000 I have tried Axis but this (these) seem to be the pedal(s). Though I haven't used my slave as a single yet...

Re: Single pedals

I play the Pearl Eliminator Powershifter double. I love it, Its one of the most adjustable pedals out there. I loved it on its factory settings but even if you dont like it you can adjust it exactly to how you want. Its a solid pedal i would recommend it.

P.S. I chose it over the iron cobra which was the same price, i think people hype that pedal to much.

Re: Single pedals

I currently use the Iron cobra pedals, But I will change to the Demon Drive. I want a direct drive pedal. I don't like chain drive and the demon drive is perfect. I've played them and I am sold on them.

Re: Single pedals

As a note:
DW 9002 also comes with both the chain drive and the belt drive. That makes it versitile for the drummer to use either one.

So there is a matter of preference for the user to make it interchangable.

My wooden nickle.

Re: Single pedals

I used to play an Iron Cobra until I tried the Pearl Demon Drive. The smoothest fastest single pedal I have ever played. And as a bonus it has the ability to convert into a longboard if thats your preference.

Re: Single pedals

Trick Dominator - a true long-board and direct-drive.

...and its Black Billet.

...have you been to a store to try some pedals yet?
"Feet-on" experience will be your best guide.

Re: Single pedals

the Iron Cobra by TAMA is a bad ass pedal. I use the Powerglide... never had a problem with it and there's a tone of adjustments you can make to it.
