Re: double bass pedal help If your pedal is adjustable, their should be a screw (possibly requiring an allen key) that will release the section the spring is connected to from the rod that holds the beater. Then when everything is still together teh pedal should move without the beater moving.
With your foot off the pedal, postition the beater to where you like and tighten the screw back up.
If this adjustment cannot be made, you might need to invest in another pedal.
Just grab that sucker off the drum, take it out to your shed and get tinkering. It's great to know how your stuff works. |
