triple flange hoops - any difference between brands
Hi, in purchasing 2.3 triple flange hoops for toms, do you think there is any difference between the brands, eg Pearl Super Hoops, Gibralter, and the 'no name' variety? I've put Pearl Super Hs and S Hoops on my snares and can see they make a difference but on toms, not so sure. I don't tune real tight or hit real hard. The Pearl SH are expensive and I don't want to spend money if the benefit is not worth the cost. Any thoughts, experiences etc? |
