I just got the Pearl P-902 double bass pedals for Christmas. They were working really well, but I noticed the left foot pedal didn't have as much of a push to it. So I tried adjusting the beater cam using the very small allen wrench that cam in the package. It required a tremendous amount of force just to loosen it and once I finally got the angle where I wanted it, I tried tightening the screw again, but I ended up stripping it. Now the screw won't tighten at all and the whole left pedal assembly feels like crap. It still works, but is very week, since the spring is not catching onto the axle much. Is there any easy way for me to fix this (like buying replacement parts etc.) since buying a whole new pedal is out of the question?

Did you purchase it from a store?
Bring the pedal in for its warranty.
