Getting New Heads

I'm starting to really get into drumming lately and I'm in need of new drum heads. I play heavy metal and I'm looking for a deep sound in the toms and a good double-bass kicker friendly bass head.
Any suggestions?

Remo pinstripes work really well for metal. You wont be disappointed. Also Remo Powerstroke 3's work good for a solid bass drum tone. Just make sure you get a douple pedal patch for the head. You wont have to replace it as often.

I would suggest you Aquarian Response II for your toms batter and classic clear for reso, also get the combo Aquarian Supperkick II & Regulator for your bass drum (add the kickpad too)

somthing I did to save some money and this works really well and sounds good to.

I have a remo powerstroke 3 on the kick, I got this square foam and I gued it in a half circle to the inside of the lick head and then take out any other muffling that you have in there and then tune, it works really well if you have 2 people to tune (you and someone to hit the drum while you tune).
put the half circle just above the center of the head.

the foam I got was at ace hardwear but you can pick it up at almost and hardwear place and it will be air condtion foam 1" x 1",
Im telling you this works great
