The worse drum sticks

The worst drumsticks I have ever used are made by Zildjian. I don't know why they don't just stick to making cymbals.

I think that their drumsticks are of lower quality compared to those of Vater or Vic Firth. I don't know how some professionals are actually being endorsed to play Zildjian drumsticks.

Any thoughts?

Amen dude!! I hate zildjian sticks! Every pair of nylon tipped zildjian sticks I used, the tip always falls off! They make good cymbals, but their sticks are terrible. I use vic firth. The nylon tip is guaranteed for the life of the stick.

Doesn't Travis Barker have his own Zildjian stick model?

Yup, famous for leaving white marks all over cymbals.

Haha, yeah I heard about that. You could paint a whole cymbal white with those sticks.

I was wondering if it was the way I played that made the nylon tip fall off on the zildjian sticks, anyways I agree zildjian sticks are horrible and overpriced. I use pro-mark a lot.

I use the Zildian 5A DIP sticks and I don't think they're TOO bad. I've never had any instance where the nylon tip would fall off. The only thing is that the grip would get sticky and I'd end up taking the whole grip off. Are there any other sticks out there with built in grip?

hmmm...i somehow agree guys.. but it's not the tip or aniting else that dosent work for me..for me it's the soul of hanfling it.. i've used zildjian stick b4 n it's just feels not right for me. eventhough the diameter n lenght are the same with other drumstick that i have now, its just feel not right. maybe becoz of my hand is big and the stick is...i dun noe..but, it's not too bad though. it's better than the one that we made ourself..huhuhuhuu...each 1 has got it's used for certain condition..

I have left two brand new pairs of Zildjian stick that I keep only for the practice pad, this way I'm sure they wont break in my hands...
