Just bought Emad double ply(by actident thought is was bands that go around the kick batter heard to dampen it relly), my friend is envious, i listen to his band and hes broke ATM(needing a new bass drum head).
They work. Really. I really recomend trying out an emad. That said, Theres nothing wrong with Powerstroke 3's and 4's. Its all in what you want to hear.
Has anyone tried out the Powersonic series yet? I'd really like to hear some reviews.

It has a nice full round sound to it.
Yes,Aquarians are the bee's knee's.I just put thier performance 2 w/ the studio x rings on my toms last weekend in the studio and they are the best heads I have ever put on my drums.Top notch.Anyone who hasn't tried Aquarians...treat yourself.
My highschool's kickdrum had an aquarian head on it. It was coated, muffled and powerdotted and sounded like you were kicking a sheet of cardboard. I've not been too keen to try them after that.
