I hate it when I break a drum head even though I havent done it in a long time now, it still really sucks.
I dont have the money or the time to go get a new one (music store is about an hour away) and know I am stuck with one less tom. I normaly hold on to old heads but I had had them on the floor and the cat decided to get sick and take a huge crap in it so I got rid of it

So I guess I am stuck with one less tom for the time being.

what are some of your broken drum head stories.

ny verry recent story my first drum head ever, all dented(sounds like a gond when u dant have second head on it) I hid a CD under it to keep it away from my dog(it was a great cd, got it from my first punk concert). but if it wasnt dented I would use it as a "e ring"(well its only a 13")

Dude how hard do you hit your toms to bust those heads? I have never broken a tom head. I've dented a few but never broken.

All my snare heads break (eventually) and in earlier years I wrecked a few bass heads when my beater would fall off.

But I hear you man. The only shop that stocks my size sticks is an hour away.
