leg weights... I can max out on any leg extension machine, over 500 on push... and im not that strong upper body wise

For speed bursts/blasts I twitch my foot though, all weights would do there is slow me down. I play flat foot for fast stuff and heel up for more steady/slower/powerful things.

I'm not the one saying that but it comes from the pedals manufacturer when the double chains drive went out. If you dont have to concentrate to stabilise the board then you can give all you concentration to hit evenly, harder & faster. That's what came out back then.

Tama Iron Cobra and DW 7000s are in the same range. Both will cost about $200. I have the 7000s and they are nice.

I do know one drummer who dose use the 4000(or 3000s, for got) It broke, he had to use it as a single for a wile...7000s are woth it.
