yea, doesn't really matter cause they're all the same. I used batting tape last time I did my sticks.

I find using dipped sticks helps alot compared to wooden sticks. it could be also of sweaty palms, your grip, nervousness. check this pair of sticks out, its the best pair i've ever used.
