Talking Gas lift drum throne repair.

Well it finally happened my friends. My beloved 20 something year old tama gas gas lift stool sprung a leak and I was left playing a show last friday with a slowly rising drumkit up around my ears at the end of each song. Yes that is quite funny isn't it.

So I looked around for replacmnet stools, but noones doing gas lift anymore. The pearl roadsters have a suspension spring built in, but i really just wanted my old throne back.

So after much ringing and driving around to find someone to repair it, I finally came across a local office furniture manufacturer called Arteil (Garling rd O'Conner WA). Steve was a champ. Fitted a whole new gas lift system to it for less than $80.

So If you live in Perth, go there. And if any of you were thinking it'd be great to get a gas lift put in your exsisting stool, I'd reccomend finding a similar company and asking them about it, cos it's a pretty simple proceedure once you get down to it.
