im trying to mount my small tom to one of my cymbal stands. I was gonna buy a clamp but i realized that the prong on the clamp needs to go through the side of the tom. ON my tom the prong wouldnt be able to go through, Any suggestions on how i could move my tom

prolly has teh clamp you'll need. If it's a bass drum mount tom you could take out the mount that's on/in teh bass drum and attach it to teh stand also.
