Re: Your Favorite drum heads

Evans G2 clear on the top, g1 clear on the bottom for toms. St dry snare batter hazy 300 reso. Evans g4 on the bass with a danmar falam pad for extra attack. My kit sounds huge!!!

Need a new reso for my bass.

Re: Your Favorite drum heads

I have Evans G1 coated heads on my toms and snare right now--they came with my kit so I was gonna burn em out before I replace them--BUT I don't like the sound of the toms so much and will probably replace them with Evans EC2's and replace the snare head with a Evans HD Dry Reverse Powerdot. For the Kick I'm thinking I'll go with the 24" Evans EMAD2 to get that PHAT sound... Not that a 24"X20" Gretsch kick doesn't sound PHAT to begin with lol...
