Unhappy Double Bass Pedal Problem

How do I adjust the position of my left beater? It has good rebound and everything, I just need it closer to my bass drum. Any thoughts?

Re: Double Bass Pedal Problem

It's a noname. and I know, I know, you get what you pay for. My parents bought for me for Christmas, and got it for $99 on ebay. I just don't have the heart to tell them it's a piece of crap, so I've been trying to work on it and fix it. Pretty much I just need to adjust the beater, all the other issues I've worked out for now.

If it is a no namer then you might not be able to adjust it. Are you able to post a pic or two of the cam and beater assembly?

Re: Double Bass Pedal Problem

Yeah the no names can be great for the price, but are severely limited in adjustability. The adjustment should be related to the spring assembly, if it exsists.

Re: Double Bass Pedal Problem

Ok. I'll post some pics on here probably tonight. And, last night, I was playing, and realized that every time I use the right pedal, the whole part that holds both beaters moves downward, as if it's caving in on itself. I figure I just need a new pedal, but like I said in the original post, I don't have the heart to tell my parents, and also, I would like to salvage it if at all possible. Thanks for the help so far. I'll put pics on tonight and if you guys see a way to adjust it, please let me know.
THANKS!!!!!
