No, i would not buy them, they aren't the best on the market. But, if you're looking for a good pedal in that price range, buy a trick pedal. Check ebay for drum pedals. I bought my single axis longboard pedal on ebay for $96.

also, i played one of those pearl demon drive pedals in a shop once, and they seem alright, but the beater feels like its going to snap or something! of course new beaters wouldnt be hard to get, but its kind of odd...
