I am looking into buying a double bass pedal, and I think I found a good one (Tama Iron Cobra) on the internet for $110 and it ships to canada But the only probalem is that it's right footed (like most of them are) I dont have any knowledge on them so I was wondering do you have to buy certain double bass pedals just for lefties or do you just buy it and set it up whatever way you are?
That is a great question. The only pedal I know of that can be changed from righty to lefty is the Pearl Demon Drive. Here is a cut and paste from musicforall.biz:
