I am an active drummer who has played in many genres. I am currently involved with a classic/hard rock band. I have exclusively played Remo heads all my life, & within the past year I switched from coated to clear Ambassadors on all toms. I LOVE the sound, but now that I'm playing harder, I'm not getting much longevity from them. Can anyone suggest a stronger head that would'nt compromise my tone? Thanks for any help. 'shark
