I NEED to get a new hi-hat stand but i dont know which ones im stuck between the DW 5500D Delta II 3-Leg Hi-Hat Stand,Gibraltar 9600 Series Dual Leg Hi Hat Stand With Direct Pull,Yamaha 800 Series Hi-hat Stand or the Ludwig LM917HH Double Braced Hi Hat Stand Vote!!
My first choice on that list would be the DW and the second would be the Gibraltar. I think the DW is made to a better standard, and the Gibraltar Liquid Drive is very very smooth.

i three. if it werent for Tama innovation, i would be buying that DW stand. i second trommlers comment on gibraltar and place it second.

if you havent already, try them all out. we can give you some other suggestions if you want, too.
personally, i would go for a 2-leg stand for accommodating a double bass pedal, but maybe you arent worried about that yet.

The DW 9000 series 2 leg hi hat stand is really nice. It also gives you room for a double pedal as butter said. I played it at guitar center and really really liked it. Try it out if you can.
I was never really that particular until i felt what a Tama Lever glide? (strap) two legged stand felt like....im hooked. I like it better than the DW.
