Drumstick wraps

Just wanted to say if you are one that uses stick wrap I may have a solution for you that will save money. We have all used the Ahead stick wrap that runs almost 5 bucks for wraps to cover one pair of sticks. I did some experimenting with different things and found something that really works well and is more economical. It is called "Tourna Grip" it is actually grip wrap for tennis rackets. You can find it at sporting goods stores in the tennis section obviously. They have two package types, one is a pack of 3 and the other is a pack of 10. Cut it in half and the tape strip in half, one wrap will cover a pair of sticks. The pack of 3 will run 5-6 bucks. There is no real thickness difference. If you can get past the blueish purple color Im bettin you will like them as good or better than the Ahead wraps. Oh and before you wrap them cut one end at an angle like the Ahead wraps so they will go on a little easier when you start the wrap at the bottom. Good luck.
