Coated or clear heads?

ohhhhh this is a tough one.

I like clears because they are very versatile.
They also have a very projected tone to them.
It is also hard to see marks in them.
I like Coated heads because they can tougher than most clear heads.
Coated heads also give a nice look to most sets.

But I'm going to have to go with clears.

I use a coated snare batter, and everything else is clear.

I use Remo Pinstripe heads all around both batter and resonance.

But my favorite one is between my shoulders. Haaaaa!

I have Remo Pinstripe on all my toms
and Remo Weather King on my snare as the batter and Ambassador as
my resonant snare the resonant heads on my toms are all factory.

I'm using remo pinstripes on my toms but im looking to upgrade to evans ec2's. I've tried them before and you can tune them to so many different pitches and they always sound good but especially for low sounds! also i use aquarian focus-x on my snare

On my next set I will have Aquarian super kick II on the bass drum.
Remo pinstripes on my toms and maybe an Evans on my snare.
coated snare of course. Everything else clear. I won't keep factory heads this time.

What about Fiberskyn? I either use coated ambassadors, emperors or fibersykns.

I use Evans EC2 SST clears on top and Evans G1 clears on the bottom.

I like the Evans brand (G2 Clear). I was getting to much overtones on the Remos. Was tied of using tape with bar napkins. I also like the kevlar batter on my snare. Not much over tones and a solid snap.
