That's why you should leave it to the pros. There are some websites that are "made to order" the heads.

You can either pick one of their designs, or you can make your own and they print it on what or which ever drum head you select.

They use certain types of silk screening methods. Depending on how thick you want they print according to how long you want it to last.

Some of these prints do fade after some time. The resonance will be affected, one way or another.

Nothing wrong with painting your own head as long as you know what you're doing.

You can always get another drum head, but you can't replace the kit.

I would suggest inked by EVANS you can get a professional custom head for a pretty good price, less than 100 dollars

Bad spelling on my part, but you have made my point. What is the ancient Chinese word? Might be a good name for a band or a Clint Eastwood type spagetti western! The Incorrigibles (in Chinese). You never cease to amaze me. I'm not worthy...
