Double Pedals.

Can someone give me some suggestions on Double Bass Pedals. I originally wanted to get some Axis Longboards, but i heard that even though there good for speed, they have no power without triggers and i dont have money for triggers. I'm currently useing my first Double Pedal (Gibraltar single chain drive) which i got for $100 used just because i wanted to try double bass. now that im serious about Double Bass Drumming i'd like to move up from my entry lvl pedal to a good pedal like maybe Eliminators, Demon Drive, Longboards, Iron Cobra, or some Yamaha direct drives.

Re: Double Pedals.

The DW is also a good pedal. I use the DW 9000 series. It comes with direct drive and you can switch to Belt or Chain, which ever is better for you. I did find a DW 800 Series for much less.

GearTree.com - Dw DWDWCP8002 Drum Workshop 8000 Series Double Bass Drum Pedal

You may also try EBay or Craigslist and get them used. Maybe you can try them out at your local drum shop.

Re: Double Pedals.

I use PDP double pedals which have chain drives.
They're great for speed and power(:
Bonus!
And as for the Demon Drive...are you fer serious?
Those things are expensive!
They are ridiculously sexy though.

I changed from Axis longboards to DW 9000. I'm on the same boat with you Jim. But I got my pedals for $250 at guitar center.

If we're on the same boat, I'm not rowing.

Father's Day is right around the corner. So you might find some real deals.

Duh, huhu, the sales person doesn't have to know that the pedals are for you.
