This is probably a dumb question but, learning dynamics, loud, quiet, but do certain heads help with your dynamics, it seems to me the quieter you play, the coated 1ply seem to sound better, maybe I wrong, just curious what people say about this, thks
You hit the nail on the head. The softer you play the better a single ply head sounds, and the louder you play the better a 2 ply head sounds (un mic'd of course).
