Question New Set of Remo Emperors Setup

Hello, I resently ordered a new set of Remo Emperors for my toms and was just wondering if anyone with some experience on these forums have any advise on tuning, setup, etc. I got 10", 12", 14", and 16" both coated and clear heads. Here are the Two main questions:

Do I go Coated on top, Clear on bottom? or vise versa?
(My youth group as clear on top and it seems alright)

Do I use Low or High tuning tensions?
(I play mostly metal so im guessing lower)

I have clear knowledge has of how to tune and setup my kit, this thread is ment for anyone that has used these drum heads before and are willing to give me information about them. Any advise would be helpful. Thanks!

If you get the Drum Dial. It would help in getting within the tuning spectrum and the fine tune them from there.

Drumdial Inc. featuring drum tuning, drum triggers, triggers, electronic drums, electronic drum triggers

Batters are usually tuned high on the batter side and low on the resonator side.

Some prefer the same tension on both sides depending on the sound your looking for.

Coated on top and clear on the bottom is the norm.

Look into this site and get some knowledge of your choice.
