Evans EC2 SST Evans EC2 SST heads would they work in a live UNmiced prog/classic rock situation yes or no? I have a Tama SCP birch kit.10,12,13,14 & 16. |

Re: Evans EC2 SST As long as your bass drums/drums have portholes on the resonator, I think they should work well.
It would project the bass with better impact |

Re: Evans EC2 SST Sure they would work. Also, the reso head on the bass (having a port) does have a lot to do with the sound, but do they even make EC2 SST bass batter heads? I dunno.
I have EC2 SST heads right now, I don't see why any heads wouldn't work for that situation unless they were like J1's or something. EC2s are probably more suited to prog than most heads. |

Re: Evans EC2 SST Between The Buried And Me 's drummer uses them and I thought they were decently loud with his kit. Though I think he just tested his drums and he plays loud music. |
