hi although i put this in off topic there was nowhere on the site relating to injurys which im sure you can understand if your a drummer and you have broken your foot.

well........ i have, and its killed my playing until i get signed off by the doc. 21st oct a steel tyre rim came crashing down and smashed the big toe had stitches and now waiting for the bone to heal.

i cant bend it i wont move, its a bit worrying as i hope im gonna be able to get back to my usual speeds and playing style i will have no clues until i try,

and what about you guys? did you have this problem and how long did it take you to get back on the throne?

I've not had a break before but I had to cancell a gig due to a jarred leg. I fell of the back of ute (pickup truck) and was down and out for week.

Don't worry though I'm sure you'll be able to get your chops back. Even if your toe has died, we humans are highly adaptable.

thanks mate i bloody hope so, my job in the band is very very progressive with double kick leaning towards metal but just enough to stay open and steer off towards other styles, but mainly in the rock theme.

i put in a claim for me injury and the boss then makes me redundnat, then the next days finds out how much hes gotta pay me and then says he cant afford it and offers me job back lol, he got arsed about the claim, yet i spoke to him about it before i put it in and it fine ok no probelm bal bla..... im making plans to do music full time set up a mobile studio, my wife is designing a website, if this place goes down im not working for the man no more im done with it. music has been my life now its time make it the whole thing and nothing but the rock&roll. LOL
