I play alot of different styles. But, I love post hardcore/screamo/Punk.

About the toms. I have my 10 & 12 both on a single tom stand. I just like it that way. It's very comfortable to me. I have my kit set up very ergonomically. I could play it in pure darkness.

I like your style in music. Lately I've been getting into bands like Poison the Well and GlassJaw. It's good stuff. And it sure is important to know your set. I actually had to play in the dark at times for one of my gigs. Dropping a stick or two would have been disastrous

what's up drummers. I like the format of this site. It needs more drum content though. Where are the drum experts at?

gloves are great but they have a down fall I found. you have to have somthing on the stick to grip or the sticks will just slide right out of your hands.
but I wear them all the time now and I tell you waht when you play a lot it can cut down on blisters big time (yes I still get them even after 18 years of playing) but I found the best gloves is the ahead gloves but the look really stupid but they last forever Im finding out. Ive had mine for about a year now and they are still holding up great.
I went thru 2 pair of the zildjian real quick so I decded to try these and they work great.
if you are playing anything that you are going to have to play a complicated rytham on the snare or somthing they arnt all that great to have on though but for just strait playing they are great and they defintly cut down on hand fatige, and I found that I can play for twice as long as I could before.

haha do they really look stupid? I think they look badass! Theyre basically just gloves with the fingers cut off right? What are they made out of?

i prefer the natural touch of the wood on my skin but supposedly the gloves give wrist support as well.. but at $30 a pair, not sure if it's really worth it
