Welcome to the forums Attic! I checked out the drums in your sig.. I love the finish on the shells.. Pacific is really living up to the DW name... what kind of second snare is that?

Thanx, man. The second snare is a Pacific SX 12x6 Maple. I love it.

Is that a special kind of bass drum head? Why are there 2 holes with the metal rims on them? I'm guessing this is for micing purposes? Or aesthetics? Haha anyway, it looks pretty dope.

They are called Bass Drum O's. They are actually plastic. But, yeah..They are for a mic, looks and sound. I got them from musiciansfriend.com. I also bought th hole cutter. It's pretty easy to do. They come in a few other colors too.

sweet, I'll look into it. One more question.. you have your high tom mounted with your cymbal stand.. Why not move it over and make the other one your middle tom? but i guess it's a matter of personal preference.. but other than that i'm liking your kit alot. what kind of music do you use your setup for?
