Seems like everyone and their brother has a myspace page these days. I don't have a myspace page but I do have a facebook.com profile which is a similar social networking website. It doesn't have the same musician features as myspace though. Does it give you guys a lot of exposure?

It certainly gives some exposure, I've had many comments from people I would never have met including musicians I admire. It's quite good for hunting out people with similar obscure tastes, or even the makers of obscure music you know and love.

I do think it's also kind of meaningless, it's easy to get anyone to be your "friend", in the myspace sense of the word. I have Snoop Dogg as a friend but there's no way he's even anything to do with his myspace page.

Eventually everyone in the world will be on myspace and have 5,999,999,999 friends. Then we'll all turn our computers off and go to the park.

Yeah it's kind of sad if you think about it. The internet is great and all for getting social interaction and getting to interact with people who you normally who never even be able to meet. However, it's coming to a point where we're learning to forget what one on one in person interaction is and that's when I think something like MySpace becomes unhealthy.
