I'm 46. gyutae, it doesn't start to move "downhill" til you hit 40. Well, at least thats how I feel. But ya cant do anything about it other than take care of yourself, so you might at well make the most of it. Playin' music as often as you can helps immensely though.

I'm 46 also, I would agree that taking care of yourself is important. I don't feel I'm on the downward slope yet, with one exception my hearing. Wear that hearing protection religiously!!! I wish I had when I was younger (but hearing protection wasn't even thought about then). I'm not at the hearing aid stage yet, but I definately am at the stage where I'm having problems understanding people at low volumes, and people complain that I have the TV up too loud. listening to music is less enjoyable for me also, because I can tell I'm not hearing the full spectrum of the sound as well as I used to. No one told us when we were in our teens and 20s that we should be wearing hearing protection playing loud music in a band, but you've been warned. A set of earplugs is a cheap investment for protecting you musical future.
