Well I just found out 2 weeks ago me and my girlfreind are having a baby.
Just wanted to share this with everyone.

I cant wait

But I guess what I wanted to ask for some of the drumming fathers that I know we have on here if there was any precatuions that you took after you had kids.

I mean I know a lot of it like I cant be playiing with them in the house with out worring about hearing damage. but is there anything specific that you did.

Get a drum shield. My 2 year old loves to play on daddy's kit but he goes around to the front of the kit to try to climb up the cymbol stands. The shield I bought is 5' 6" tall x 2' with 5 panels total. Great for small stages and it came in handy when the kid's hanging around the kit. The shield is sturdy enough to withstand him pushing up against it.
