Update.

Thought i'd post an update, for all those who care. I finally managed to hook up with some semi-reliable and very tallented musicians. (Thanks, myspace!) It's TOTALLY different from the guitarists/bassists I'm used to: 25watt practice amps and a knowelege of 3 chords. It's also really wonderfull to not be the only person in the rythem section. Theese guys had some serious gear and real drive. It's also great to be challenged; It turns out that I play far better when some pressure is applied. We had a great vibe going (think godsmack, Alice in chains, Stone temple pilots - heavyish rock) Hopefully we can get some tunes recorded within this month. Stay tuned.

Congratulations on finding some musicians you enjoy working with. That's probably the hardest part about putting a band together is getting the right mix of talent, and personalities to make it work.

Thumbs up

Good for you. They wouldn't have stuck around if you weren't playing some GOOD stuff on those drums. Keep it up.
Idea--Start every rehearsal out just jamming a song. Just start a beat & they'll jump in. It loosens every body up. End your rehearsal the same way. Every body leaves feeling good.---ENJOY

Well done bro. I know just how you feel. I must've been through about six bands before now, and I've finally got a guitarist who can solo on command.
