Hey you lot, this is verging on the spam side of things but here I go....
I run a label called Dreamboat Records (
http://www.dreamboatrecords.co.uk ) and today is the release of my old band's first and last album. We've worked hard to get this finished and released so I thought it worth posting a link as I'd like the word spread (and making some cash would be quite helpful at the moment). It's a download-only release and you can get it (track by track or the whole thing) at the Bleep website -
http://bleep.com/?bleep=DRMBT005 .
There are a couple of freebies on our website -
http://www.azaleacitypenisclub.com (mp3 page) if you just want to grab a couple of tracks.
It's odd listening to the recording now as it's fairly old, I can't help listening to my playing and thinking I could have done so much better at certain points, or played a little tighter. But that's not really the point, is it? I'm sure y'all know what I mean - if you listen to old recordings there's always something to pick up on. I guess it's healthy as long as you don't cut yourself up over it, it's great having stuff committed to tape as a document of a particular time. Or something. I think I'll stop typing now..... go and buy our music!
