Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland

The new alice in wonderland looks awesome! Tim burton is a creative genius so I’m sure it’ll rule, but I really like the new way their doing the art for it. the old Disney stuff was good, but the new burton art looks very traditional and old school. I found a site with a bunch of t-shirts for the new movie, check out the t-shirts:
ALICE IN WONDERLAND
I really like the Cheshire cat ones personally.

I saw Sweeney Todd yesterday. That's a really creepy movie. And ya, Alice in Wonderland looks weird.

Re: Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland

Not weird enough in my opinion. Yes its got all of Burton's trademark strangeness but the whole freaky series of prarables concept has been thrown out for some predictable character based narrative. Seriously, the only 3 characters you're supposed to see more than once is Alice, the cat (awesomely voiced by Shephen Fry btw) and the white rabbit. The mad hatter ain't supposed to be no stinkin hero with flashbacks!!!!

I think Burton, Depp and Bohnam-Carter need to think about trying something new and if anyone else hear wants to see some really brilliant Burton before he circummed to nothing but half-arsed remakes, see Bettlejuice, Mars Attacks, The Nightmare before Christmas and Edward Scissorhands.

Re: Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland

well, depp did a great job, but thats because hes depp. hes probably one of the best actors there has ever been.
however, the only thing i really liked about the movie was the dance the hatter does at the end.
i really hated the whole theme, but i can thank my 8th grade english teacher for that. she had a whole unit based on the poem the jabberwockey. i hate that poem now... so much.

all in all, it was an okay movie. nothing special, just watchable and not horrible.
