Tainojim,
OK, Clear Light, you got it. I understand the Butter "circus music" connection to the Hello
People. It just takes me a while sometimes.

I have experienced most peoples ages, so I may very well be around yours.

And Butter, when you say "circus music," are you referring to that Portnoy video you posted for me? Don't recall its sounding like circus music to me.

Re: How did you choose drums as your instrument? How did you get behind a drumset?

TAINOJIM,
Heard the Clear Light song "Ready to be Free," and I like it! Saw their album cover.
The only other Clear Light stuff I could find was an acne treatment and a Buddhist temple.
Any other tunes by them available?

haha no, i didnt mean that video.

most of their stuff is pretty heavy, but go back to their early days and it gets more abstract and less tasteful, imo at least. its still pretty cool, though.

hell's kitchen is the only one i can think of right now, and it only has a small part of the song that is "circusy". ill post again when i think of a better one

i listened to clear light, the song "shes ready to be free"... very odd indeed i couldnt find the happy people, though.

BUTTER,
Well if you throught Clear Light was very odd, you may want to take a sedative before you see the Happy People. They take odd to a new level.

Go to page 4 of this thread to Tainojim's post which is two frames after your "circus music" post. Click on Happy People, scroll all the way down, and play the video. Yikes.

You mean like Deep Purple, Sir Lord Baltimore, and such?

I've got a list longer than both my arms. I was around when the Under Ground Movement was invented.
