Need An Opinion...

Ok, so I know you guys could REALLY care less but...
I got my boyfriend a birthday present and need an opinion!

So I bought him the Paiste Slipknot Edition Rock Crash 18" cymbal and Bosphorus Cymbal Wipes.

How would you react if your girlfriend/wife/boyfriend/whatever you have got you this?
Help much appreciated(:

I assume he's a drummer, and I think it's great! How do you make sure he likes the sound of the cymbal? He could exchange it, right?

What a great thing for a girlfriend to get her drummer boyfriend! Boss!

His favorite band is Slipknot and I've tried out the cymbal before;
he and I have the same tastes when it comes to cymbals.

I'm pretty sure it will work.

I am sure that anything you get him he will appreciate.

That said I would steer you both away from those cymbals because they tend to sound bad because of the black paint, and the black paint will wear off particularly if you are cleaning them regularly.

Just kidding, but if my wife was buying me cymbals, i'd be masaging the crap out of her feet on the daily. Good work girly.

P.s. I can only assume you two drum jam together, I want videos!!!

:O!!! i wish my girlfriend would buy my anything for my drums!!! thats the coolest thing EVER! i would prefer Paiste, but thats just me. Im sure hell be major psyched.

And I painted him a pair of Vic Firth 7As for Christmas and put them in the Zildjian Tommy Lee Stick bag(:
He loved it.

Watch out! If he felt that good about the painted sticks, he'll throw himself under a bus for you once you give him the cymbal. Stay out of the city!
