Hmmm... I haven't noticed any for a long time. You know how to flag it right? So that the mods can find it easier and ERADICATE IT!!! Usually they do a pretty good job.

Really? I haven't noticed spam for ages. The mods are doing a beautiful job cleaning up IMO.

Ive started a similar thread cos it annoys the hell out of me.

I have suggested that Forum Admin or moderators have to approve members before they can post, happens on lots of forums now, and requires a quick write up of who you are, what you drum etc etc

As Scottie on the Enterprise would say "I'm doing the best I can, captain".

I alone have banned an average of 100 spammers weekly. So have the other MODs.

We have tried to implement other ways to cut down on the spam but a couple of weeks ago I heard that Craigslist is stopping all of its sexual content adds.

This is still a great forum for drummers and we are looking into other ways along with DSC management to trick these spammers.

So while your patience is wearing thing, so is my hair.

Really I'm just as sick of spam as you are. MODs don't get paid for doing this either. This is a voluntary service we do because we care.
