I would just like to clarify but he did NOT leave them for A7X. He is however just finishing up the tour with them and touring with some other bands. This leave is thought to be only temporary, because of his repetition of the word "break". So don't be too alarmed if he joins up with DT in a year or two.

A7X is my favorite band, and I would rather the band break up than lose The Rev as well!
Mike Portnoy is an Amazing Drummer but I do not think he suits A7X's needs. Not sure who would be more suitable for the position tho.. hmmm...
Maybe I could try out for it :-p lol
