Multi-pedal playing

Is anyone else trying out multiple pedals? Right now I've got two bass drums, two hi-hats and a fourth pedal on the left side that's rigged up to an old electronic pad with the rubber ripped off, so it has a woodblock sound. I'm planning on getting the contraption that holds a cowbell so I can play it with my feet too.
I'm taking inspiration from Thomas Lang. Some YouTube videos I've seen just amount to a pile of noise. Hey, I'm all for noise, but I'm also looking for interesting foot patterns to play under simple beats. Any ideas? What do you think about the trend to get busier with our feet?

Re: Multi-pedal playing

I always wanted to get one of those Meinl Cabasa pedals. Also I would like some remote hats and a cowbell pedal. That would be 6 total. Lang has like 15... Bozzio has like 22... I have 3
I think we need to spice up our footwork. I'll lay off it for a while longer until I perfect my handiwork concerning my hands and until I can afford more footjoy. I know a video with some great stuff, you may have seen it, but I'll find it and post it tomorrow.
