Not really a great idea for a poll, but I just wanted to make one

So which one is your favorite to play in and why?
Most drummers/musicians in general probably, are used to 4/4 because it is the easiest and first to be learned. Most odd signatures are not difficult, it just takes time to get some of them in your head... 11/8 is a bit tricky for me, 15/8 is fun, but also annoying.
7/8 has got to be one of my favorites.
Maybe you like something ridiculous like 59/48.

Does anybody know about time signatures like 3⅔/4 ?
Ever think about odd denominator time signatures? Like 4/5? It can be done... Irrational meters are crazy. We could get into polyrhythms, too.

I love odd signatures, and just for a twist try to smooth them out with a half time pulse on the hat or ride. Jump on the youtube and search for Gavin Harrison playing "Sound of Muzak" to see what I mean.

Simply, the Time Signature tells a musician how many beats there are in a measure and the value of the note that get the beat. For instance, the most common Time Signature is 4/4 time - 4 beats per measure and the quarter note gets the beat.

3/4 timing = three beats per measure and the quarter note gets the beat.

Basic Values of Notes: Whole | Half | Quarter | Eighth | Sixteenth | Thirty-Second | Sixty-Fourth
Notice each step down is a subdivision by one-half: Whole - 2 Half Notes, Half = 2 Quarter Notes, Quarter = 2 Eighths, and so on.

So, VDrum, here is your quiz (the same one I give to my beginner students): In 2/2 time, how many beats are in the measure and what note get the beat?

First of all, thank drumtech for helping me out. My answer is 2 and a half notes per measure. I now understand what time signature means and how to count but I just dont know how to play it with drum because you have to use both hands! Could you plz explain more about playing with drum? Ill appreciate that!
