So I've watched myself play many times and i've noticed a lot of things that i do that i need to improve on. But I wanted to post a video so that i can get advice from other drummers. Keep in mind that when we recorded this video i was exhausted from practicing for a while, plus it was hot. I was pretty much making stuff up as i went. And yes, its supposed to get softer then louder then softer then louder.

It is quite easy to nit pick the performance of another. Perhaps ease up on the amount and strength of the cymbal crashes. Practice a lighter accent crash. Maybe a cymbal bell here and there during the quieter passages of a song and a lighter ride. Sometimes less is more.
