Drum Dial = 13"x7" Birch Snare
Just wonder if anyone has any ideas about what the settings might be for a Drum Dial to tune a 13"x7" Birch Snare Drum?.

Crank up the batter to 90, Saying its a birch and smaller diameter that would be a safe bet.

Cracks like the sweet spot of a baseball bat hitting a home run.

If your using a batter head.
just multiply the diameter by the depth. I am certain the drumdial scale works on this.
It will be around 90.

Re: Drum Dial = 13"x7" Birch Snare
I've often found that a drum dial is best used to guarantee even tension across and around the drum head then the real tuning is done by ear making sure that you turn your key an equal amount on each rod.
