Cool Do drummers still ware drum merchandise

Maybe i'm just mixing in the wrong circles or right circles these days..but i don't seem to see it much. The Zildjian or Paiste T-shirt brigade. Is it old hat or Un-cool or too expensive when the average is about £30 quid for a cotton T-shirt with a drum manufactures name on...They look great on girls with huge hooters but a guy with man boobs and beer belly it don't have the same effect.........some how.
I look at it this way i want some money if i'm gonna Endorse a brand or logo on any part of my anatomy. I agree if a pro drummer is getting money and equipment thrown at him then sure advertise but Joe Blogs drummer it just looks naff. If your gonna wear a t shirt go for something cool like a Harley Davidson or Buddwiezer T-shirt....Its an ego thing im a drummer i want everyone to know...low key is better it adds mystery i prefer spandex and a Bandanna and shades myself only kidding.....

Re: Do drummers still ware drum merchandise

I would still wear a Zildjian T-Shirt; if I had one. Might get one soon actually.

Back in college days, it was just cool to wear one of those t-shirts. I used to wear one with pride, i was so into my music; met some decent jazz players in college and it was just the best and wanted to show off. Plus I was after girls too! Noticed non-musicians wearing the Zildjians too; that house scene, jazz-funk, sort of style.

I Had a white and black Zildjian Avedis T-shirt and after about a week the under arm was wide open where the stitches just fell apart used it as a cymbal duster in the end so it served me well....come to think of it like a lucky pair of pants it was good for pulling the babes....i seem to recall blonds were attracted to the design like some sixties mo-Jo magnet.....lo Rock anld Roll...or ...Nice yea! Great!

I got a black Zildjian Avedis T-shirt and a mouse pad for free. Every time I wore it, people thought it was Arabic writing.

Please forgive the ignorant souls, for they know nothing.

idk man. I wear a Zildjian shirt, Evans shirt, Blue Coats shirt, and a drumline jacket from ma scool. I love them all. I think you have to get the right stuff though. It has to look cool, it can't just be a white shirt with a name. boring. Theres alotta drummerz I know that wear that sorta stuff
