Can anyone help,I have a Peace Practice Kit that i play,Someone where i live told me that my immediate next door neighbours that live either side of me told them that thay could hear me when I'm on the kit,Could anyone tell me what kind of volume these kits give off,I'm sure its minimal thay must have there ears hard against the adjoining walls,or it has crossed my mind that just because thay know that i am a drummer thay just say that thay can hear me practice,thay don't tell me ,thay tell other people,I just wondered if anyone has measued the volume of say a Electronic Kit played turned off.

Your neighbors fear you. Lots of drummers have the reputation to be violent, cranky and argumentative. Some chicks love that "bad boy" reputation.

If your home is attached, it could be vibration noise. If it's not attached, then it's pitter patter that they here.

I've never used a decible meter to find out, but you can go to your local precent and find out about what noice ordenance are aloud during what times of the day.

It's like the neighbors dog pooping on your lawn type of thing. When my neighbor's dogs bark too often, I open the window and yell "SHUT THE HELL UP ALREADY" and the barking stops. Then again I've been living here since 1959 and they all know that I'm half crazy.
The cops don't come to my home, besides I know them. I used to install car alarms for them.

They just being dumb Ignor de,m YOU A DRUMMER!! Its fun to be hated by neighbors anyway You are alowed to be so loud ya know. Why dont you play REALLY loud then when you play quite they wont complain!
