When I'm practicing Heel-Toe I tend to lean back,away from the pedals,I noticed the Drummer from "Gojira" did this when i went to see the band,But i just cann't say if any of the other drummers that i have seen have this tendancy,,Am i Practicing this method in the wrong way by leaning backwards?.Is it something that i have too correct?,Or is it normal?.I've had the idea of getting a Throne with a Back Rest to try to keep my back straight and prevent me from leaning backwards.But i don't know if this would be the answer,Because i don't know if I'm doing anything wrong or not?

Your right,Just watched a Video on line by "Derrick Pope" explaining how to do the "Heel-Toe Method" and he seems to lean backwards slightly.

I guess it works however it's good for you.....I've noticed I both lean back a little, or forward, or nothing at all when I do it. I usually lean forward when I do sets of three or four sixteenths (whew four is hard) on the bass, but heel toe not as much. Every drummer is different. If you get results without hurting yourself, you're doing it RIGHT!

The heel toe method has been used for quite a few years now. I found out about it about 7 years ago from my old friend Jared Falk. He's got some really nice learning DVD's.

I think simply everyone is different, so long as it works for you i wouldn't worry about moving back slightly with each 'Heel'

I have just uploaded a bass drum technique video to youtube, i don't see myself leaning - perhaps it's a question on height - i'm 5'4", maybe a taller person would need to move slightly more?

In this clip i play three different bass drum patterns, the third one is fairly quick so thats the one to pay attention to i guess.

Besides height, I think the other factors would foot size vs pedal comfort.
The gravity of the leg's weight may be another.

Perhaps we should get a dozen or so drummers of different heights/weights and spend a day testing to really understand

I personally take a very rudimental approach to the drums and a consequence use a large variety of bass drum stroke techniques. My advice to beginners - be familiar with them all and use what works for you.

It's like stick grips - be comfortable with all the major grips - German, French, American (the "matched' grips), and Traditional. They all have their strengths and weaknesses.

Any beginners reading any of these technique posts should at least practice all the different techniques to get comfortable enough to retain the muscle memory. And as your skills develop, you will find that you are using these techniques automatically as required.

And use a metronome - I put students on them from the start.
