So, I'm moving into a duplex with a friend, and I need a place to play my drumset, because it can't be played there. I was considering one of those storage places, because some let musicians set up there. Anybody have some feedback, maybe some ideas. I'm completely broke pretty much, so sound proofing a room just isn't an option.

I would start talking to friends and family that might have a garage or a basement you can set up in. If that doesn't work check out renting a practice space. You can usually split that cost with another band and save yourself some cash.

Coleges, Schools, YMCA, Youth Corp. Even P.A.L. are some places to look into.

Even some churches have a place for these activities.

Also some youth centers, and it's free in all of the above mentioned.
