Thanks! Yeah, unfortunately it is a bud light D: Haha. But thanks! 6 and 9 strokes are great for making noise and conserving energy!

Re: Drum Solo While Drinking!

I have only been drumming for 6 or 7 months, so pretty much all I can do is make noise at this point! With guitar you have to get your hands to do 2 different things--now I have to deal with feet as well. I have my kit nearly to my liking now, and am looking for tips and tricks to help speed up the learning process!!! I also have a second snare, bass, and hi-hat so I can practice outside when my wife is home

That's awesome man! Keep up the practicing and you'll get there! I am actually a drum teacher and have been teaching for a few years now, if you're open to it, I've been really wanting to try giving a lesson via online. I'd do it free of charge just to get a feel for it

I would welcome any help! Your 9 minute solo was very cool too! I have to get another boom arm to mount my china---I like the way you seem to go for yours, and it sounds cool!!! I am also wondering if I should learn on my single kick pedal first, or go ahead and get a double now? I just upgraded my hi-hats and stand and bought a 2-legger with that in mind.

Honestly, I would wait on the double kick unless you are wanting to get into metal drumming right away.
