I could never give up a free meal...

Just guzzle down some Starbucks double shots before the show.

sorry I meant to add somthing about eatting but it just slipped my mind when I was writting the article. so I will add some of it now.

you should always eat a good balnced meal for all your meals of the day, now that the doctor aspect is out of the way we can get down to buisness

eat brekfest every day, I know it's tough but do it, it will help you out thruought the day and when you get home and ready to play it will still be helping you.

now lets get into playing a show, Lets just start out by saying that it is going to be hot up on that stage (or at least has been everywhere that Ive played) those lights are beating down on you and you are working harder than you normaly do just jaming, so first things first nothing that is going to boil in your stomic to make you puke or get sick, I.E. milk, coffie with milk in it like a latte ( I guess that has milk in it I dont drink coffie or anything like that) but I would say anything creamy, also BEER can be your enemy so can SODAS they will de hydrate you and can hurt you in the long run especialy if you are playing a long show, try and drink water as much as you can.

now on to the meal, the meals you eat before the show mean a lot, it is kinda like eating at a buffet, eat lightly thru out the day, try and stay away from heavy meals and anything that is loaded with startch or deep fried, and your last meal before the show should be at least 2-3 hours before hand, that way your food has already started to break down and you are getting over the sleepness from it.
What I have had before shows is things like mcdonalds or other hamber places or even a nice home cooked meal, the only startchs I would consume before a show would be somthing like pasta but with no cheese on it just plain startch food.

I hope this has helped to clear things up and when I get more info on it I will pass it down to you all, also if you have suggestions please add to this.

I am not a dietion or health expert these are just based off of personal exsperince and trining that i have recived thru the military.

one other thing to add to this is bannas and gator aid. they have potasiom in them and will help keep you from getting leg or arm cramps, just rember to much can kill you and I really mean that. and no I dont know how much it takes.
